Haüer ‘Merc II’ *Irish* Song of the day 9th Sept 2014

We’ve been following for a couple of months now – an ambitious Irish DJ that’s really starting to kick off. Check out his latest single ‘Merc II’ from a new EP called ‘Esperbyte’ coming out on the 12th September on Future City Records.

With sounds reminiscent of Daft Punk’s latest album, this track should get you boogying through the week. Good lad!

Haüer is a Dublin-based one man set-up cursed with a weakness for nostalgic 80’s music production and synth-based cinematic film scores. His debut EP ‘The Infinitesimal’ was released in 2013 by American label ‘Future City Records’ and was described by Goldenplec as “the perfect soundtrack to a sci-fi daydream”.

Since then Haüer has played some high profile gigs supporting the likes of Com Truise, Trust and Adeyhawke and played festivals such as Castlepalooza and Hard Working Class Heroes.
His single release ‘Helicop’ was included in The Guardian’s ‘Six must-listen new tracks from around the world’ in February 2013.
