Preview: ‘ Hold On’ by Róisín Ó

Just ahead of release on September 19th, we’ve been given a chance to preview Irish beaut Roisin Ó’s newest single ‘Hold On’. The release comes just off the back of Roisin’s 14-date US Tour.

With a haunting track and spookily realistic video featuring one of Ireland’s top rising actors(Love/Hate’s Aaron Heffernan), there’s a bang of Kodaline’s ‘All I Want’ about this track. But with better vocals.

Roisín talks about her inspiration behind the song: “Sometimes our minds take us to dark places and it gets hard to escape. A very close friend of mine was going through a tough time, as happens us all, and I found myself wanting, but unable, to help make things better for him. Sometimes all you can do for someone is to be there for them
and let them know that things will get better one day. This song is for him.”

Take a listen.
